Message from the Chairman
By Diane Deats
I am honored to serve as the 2012 Chairman of the Woodland Hills-Tarzana Chamber of Commerce. The chamber's success is fueled by the spirit of volunteerism in our business community and the citizens of the west San Fernando region. I want to express my gratitude to the board members and staff of the WHTCC who have worked long and hard to build our engaged and active chamber. I especially thank David Asplund for his leadership during 2011.
Chiefly we wish to create an atmosphere that will increase commerce, business opportunities, and advocacy for our member businesses and corporations. We appreciate the continued support of our elected officials.
I’m excited about business member Westfield and the support of civic leaders in developing The Village at Westfield, which will provide economic growth in the area.
We begin the New Year with the largest chamber membership in the San Fernando Valley. The leadership of your chamber is committed to the creation of the most respected and successful organization of its kind in the region.
Ultimate success will be judged by the success of our members. I encourage each of you to engage in all of the activities and utilize all of the benefits that the chamber has to offer.
The Chamber exists to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the west San Fernando Valley region, so that its citizens and all areas of its business community may prosper. Together we need to commit to support the west San Fernando Valley region with its focus on tomorrow.
Wishing you all a most prosperous and successful 2012!
