I grew up the beautiful the Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara County. My mother was a wonderful cook and I loved helping her in the kitchen whenever I got the chance. But, because both of my parents worked full time, I found myself in the kitchen creating meals for me and my younger sister (who was lactose intolerant). This sparked my interest for food and presentation at a young age. It came to be that the interest manifested into a catering and event planning business in Santa Ynez as an adult. I found food to be only one of my three life passions; Art & design being another, which I studied in downtown LA., and the truest most devoted passion is, children. Through-out my life Ive always enjoyed working with children. From babysitting in Jr. high, to nanny positions in while in college, to full time daycare assistant to 12 children (all under 5!) and organized an after-school art program where I taught elementary kids about the color wheel and how to use color to express a feeling in a picture. It has been a blast having been able to work with children of all ages and theyve taught me a lot! The most important lessons Ive learned are to listen, to encourage and to love
