Health Information Credentialing Technician - Full Time

Pay Rate: $20 - $26.40

Mon - Fri (on-site)

Duties:

• Assembles, analyzes and processes records to ensure timeliness, accuracy and completion by medical staff within 3 days of discharge.
• Scans, indexes, and/or files paper and/or miscellaneous reports into the medical record to ensure completeness.
• Performs release of information function and inquiries for health information requests
• Assists in preparing medical records for off-site storage and/or destruction of byproducts in accordance to corporate policies and procedures.
• Assists manager with credentialing responsibilities such as maintain up to date files for medical and allied, up to expirables.
• Works with CVO (credentialing verification organization) to obtain updated information.
• Performs other duties as requested.
