Description

Outpatient Center Therapy Manager - FT

Pay Rate: $50 - $57 depending on experience

Duties:

  1. Selects qualified candidates who fit the culture and have the most potential to contribute to accomplishment of established objectives. 
  2. Ensures that direct reports have received upon hire and continue to receive throughout employment the training, information and support to accomplish departmental objectives and meet job requirements. 
  3. Provides regular and accurate performance feedback to direct reports with focus on results, skill expansion, process improvement and learning. 
  4. Ensures success of department operations through building employee engagement, effective talent assessment, continual learning and development, cross-training and succession planning. 
  5. Identifies and initiates own professional growth through continued learning, self-study and involvement in professional activities and organizations. 
  6. Identifies and effectively utilizes individual and team strengths to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring the success of operational and clinical initiatives. Optimizes departmental operations by identifying current needs, strategically delegating responsibility, and planning for succession of these responsibilities. 
  7. Carries patient caseload and provides comprehensive goal directed patient treatment to maximize patient outcomes. Organizes patient treatment in order to maximize productivity and treatment efficiency on an individual and department basis. 
  8. Identifies, responds and reports acute changes in patient status. Follows appropriate emergency procedures to insure patient safety. Coordinates and facilitates departmental response to emergency situations. 
  9. Pursues focused skill development through continuing education, self study, involvement in professional activities and organizations. 
  10. Utilizes the organization’s performance improvement methodology to improve quality of services provided by this position to develop program improvement initiatives. Takes an active role in implementing new PI initiatives, delegating responsibilities appropriately. Provides feedback regarding outcomes to all levels of the IP Rehab department, in order to maximize performance improvement. 
  11. Serves as a liaison between clinical department and DOR, to effectively communicate and clarify expectations related to departmental needs and organizational initiatives, determine procedures to implement strategic goals, and provide recommendations to maximize operational efficiency. 
  12. Performs other duties as requested.
