Operation Confidence Program for Disabled Veterans
About Operation Confidence:

“Support our veterans” has become a mantra in American Society. It's on the lips of politicians, community leaders and people on the street, but unfortunately when it comes to “disabled” veterans, many are left homeless, overlooked and forgotten. Operation Confidence mission is to do its part to help our homeless disabled veterans transition back into becoming productive members of mainstream society.

Operation Confidence was founded in 1980 and have assisted 10,000 +individuals with disabilities by providing wraparound services to professionally enter the workplace. Operation Confidence also host community outreach and job fairs throughout the City of Los Angeles and collaborates with Fortune 500 corporations and small businesses to connect clients with employment opportunities.

On Sunday, July 30, 2017, Operation Confidence will host a fundraiser "A Tribute To Disabled Veterans" at the Knollwood Country Club from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Dignitaries from the State of California, Los Angeles County and City members of law enforcement agencies are scheduled to be guest speakers. They include but are not limited to, Congressmember Brad Sherman, State Controller Betty Yee, California Assemblymember Dante Acosta, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, Battalion Chief Steve Ruda, Los Angeles Fire Department, Patrina Croisdale, Director Veterans Resource Center CSUN and Captain Bryan Lium, Commanding Officer, Los Angeles Police Department-Devonshire Division. Brigadier General Ruth A. Wong (ret) Director Los Angeles County Veterans Affairs will be keynote speaker.

All proceeds will go to Operation Confidence Turning Point Housing project for homeless disabled veterans building fund. Our goal is to have a house donated to refurbish into a transitional living home for disabled veterans.
