Happy New Year Everyone! I'm looking to connect with more PTA and PTSA's in the area as well as local school principals from schools of all grade levels. I've been working a lot over the last several months on an Educational Seminar for parents and schools on different solutions on funding college. I've reached out to some of you already and would be excited to show you all what I'm working on. My family never had a financial plan growing up so when the time came to go to college we didn't have a plan on how to pay for it. If only we had someone come and tell us what we could do, what we could expect, and what the different methods to help pay for it would be it would have ended up differently. Now I do that for people. I'm here to be a resource and I love this community. Please give me a call if you are able to connect me to any groups, organizations, schools, or employees that could help me put together more seminars. I'm looking to do 50 this year and have 7 booked so far. Have a great New Year and I wish you the best year yet!

Check out this new Community group for all of you over 50 Chamber Members. Happy New Year from Woodland Hills 50+ Social Club Woodland Hills Senior Center Dec 31 at 11:43 AM Dear all, On behalf of the Executive Board and committee chairs, I would like to wish you a happy and healthy new year. Here’s a recap of our accomplishments during 2019: 1. We were able to launch a successful campaign for the future Woodland Hills Senior Center and draw public attention to this crucial need of our community. Many other communities with a smaller senior population already have a senior center but Woodland Hills with nearly 80,000 population, among whom 30,000 are considered “seniors” still depends on other communities for senior services. 2. With a recommendation from the City of Los Angeles Park & Rec. Dept. we created the Woodland Hills 50+ Social Club, accepted memberships, elected members of the Executive Board and committee chairs. 3. With the cooperation of the Woodland Hills Recreation Center, we held several biweekly meetings with lecture series and fun games. The Board and committees have strived to establish fun and educational programs and create an environment for local senior to socialize and make new friends. For 2020, we look forward to working with all interested individuals to continue with the Club’s biweekly meetings including interesting topics for seniors, games and day trips. We are hoping to increase our membership count and work with local elected officials in pursuit of the future senior center. Without a permanent gathering place, Woodland Hills seniors feel underserved. Please don’t hesitate to volunteer a few hours of your weekly time and join one of the Club’s committees, bring new ideas and help expand our club. During Winter 2020, the Club’s biweekly meetings will be held in Woodland Hills Recreation Center on the following Tuesdays from 2:00 - 4:00 PM: January 14, January 28, February 11, February 25, March 10 and March 24. We will also be offering a fun day of Bridge and other card games commencing in January. We hope to see you at the Club’s future meetings. Please spread the word and invite other 50+ individuals to join in. Please don’t hesitate to contact us via e-mail: woodlandhillsseniorsenter@yahoo.com or via phone at (818) 917-9307. Happy New Year. Alex Farassati Club President

I know it's unlikely that you are searching the Chamber Web Site for a Church but I want you to know we are here. We offer a very different worship experience; not so much in substance but in our location. We offer premarital and personal spiritual counseling, and support groups. I want you all to know that I love you with the love of the Lord even if we've never met. If you haven't been to church with us for a while or if you've never visited, isn't it time? We will share an uplifting message this coming Sunday. The only one missing is you. Call me or text for our new location. May the Lord bless you.

As we get ready to enter the NEW YEAR 2020 Rick & I want to express our appreciation for the past 9 years of doing business with Chamber members. The benefits we've received far outweigh the cost of membership. Now, let's enjoy the Holiday Season however you celebrate with family and friends.

Dear Chamber Members. I'm here representing the Hale Charter PTSA. Every year we host a teacher luncheon and as a part of the luncheon we provide gifts for the teachers. I'm reaching out to the Chamber community in hopes that you might like to donate an item for our teachers. It doesn't have to be anything big, if you sell products it could be a little gift basket of products, if you don't sell products it could be at $5-$10 gift card or something you think a teacher might like. In return for any donations, the PTSA will give social media shout outs, included your business in our email thanks and list your business on our website. If you have something to donate, please contact me ASAP at 818-726-6295. Thanks in advance for giving back to the teachers that do so much for our community!

It's almost the end of a decade! I encourage you take some time to write down your accomplishments over the last 10 years, where have you traveled, how has your life changed, how have you grown. Then, look to 10 years from now, what would you like to be writing down in that review(in 2029), what do you want to have accomplished, where would have traveled, what would your life look like. "if you don't know where you are going, you'll be somewhere else" Have a great Tuesday, see you all tomorrow morning!
