OUR MISSION & VISION
Our goal and number one priority is to provide our members with the highest level self-defense instruction in a safe environment. At our state-of-the-art facility, we provide group self-defense and fitness classes for all ages and all skill levels in a welcoming atmosphere. Our instructors and staff are knowledgeable, experienced, trained, and certified to teach Krav Maga, fitness, and fighting classes.

KRAV MAGA BEGINNERS
An introductory level class open to new students and those holding the rank of white belt, Krav Maga Beginners instructs students on the foundation of Krav Maga self defense and hand-to-hand combat techniques. Students learn various stances and combative movements used to quickly and effectively finish a fight or attack situation. Krav Maga Beginners also covers a wide range of self defense principles applicable to a variety of common street attack situations. Krav Maga Beginners is an exciting and fast paced class designed to prepare both the body and mind against violent attacks, utilizing stress drills designed to mimic real life situations. Requirements: None.
HeavyBag 60 combines functional fitness with striking from Krav Maga and other martial arts. Instructors mix in bodyweight exercises to increase the intensity, strength building, and endurance in each class. Each 60 minute class, you can easily burn 1,000 calories while building agility, speed, mobility, strength, power and cardiovascular endurance. Students rapidly improve their physiques as well as their ground and standup fight skills.Unlike your typical cardio kickboxing class, HeavyBag 60 is never boring and never repetitive. Every 60-minute session delivers a constantly varied, hardcore full body workout that keeps your mind engaged and your body challenged. Requirements: None.
KRAV MAGA INTERMEDIATE
Open to yellow and orange belt members, Krav Maga Intermediate involves training under increased levels of intensity and higher risk situations. Students apply the basic principles learned in Krav Maga Beginners, and more advanced skills and techniques, to more intense simulated street attacks. Students also learn how to use their body as a weapon while adapting to more stressful confrontations. Krav Maga Intermediate also introduces students to weapons defenses. Requirements: Yellow Belt and full fight gear.
Combat Fit is a high-energy and high-intensity striking and fitness class focused on development of elemental combative and offensive striking development for students of all levels. Students are paired together and utilize Thai pads, punch and kick shields, and focus mitts in high intensity bursts designed to sharpen offensive skills using hands, elbows, knees, and kicks. Combat Fit is a perfect compliment to both Krav Maga and HeavyBag 60 classes as it helps to increase endurance, fitness, and skill levels that translate throughout our courses.
INTRO TO FIGHTING
When you’re ready to take your Krav Maga training to the next level, Intro to Fight is your next step. It’s brutal, badass, empowering and energizing—all packed into a safe and supremely supportive and encouraging environment. Whether you’ve been with us for a single month or multiple years, you’ll have fun and feel comfortable while practicing your real world self-defense techniques in this comprehensive class. Each Intro to Fight session begins with a warm up and then moving into movement and drills. As you work on skill drills with your partner—throwing and defending against punches, kicks, elbows and knees in realistic combinations you might encounter in a fight—experienced instructors are on hand to teach you to control your power while maintaining proper form. Even beginners can relax and have a good time without worrying about getting hurt. You must have (1) month of Krav Maga training and the full fight gear before taking this class.
CARDIO BAG CAMP
Cardio Bag Camp combines functional fitness with striking from Krav Maga and other martial arts. Instructors mix in bodyweight exercises to increase the intensity, strength building, and endurance in each class. Each 45 minute class focuses on punch/kick combinations as well as building agility, speed, mobility, strength, power and cardiovascular endurance through explosive bodyweight exercises. Students rapidly improve their level of fitness as well as their standup fighting skills. unlike your typical cardio kickboxing class, Cardio Bag Camp is never boring and never repetitive. Every 45-minute session delivers a constantly varied, hardcore full body workout that keeps your mind engaged and your body challenged. Requirements: None
TRY A FREE CLASS
This course is an introduction to fighting if a fight goes to the ground. The class will focus on wrestling and jiu-jitsu techniques focusing on groundfighting, instead of striking, This class offers a different style of exertion and technique different from other traditional martial arts. In this class, you will learn how to fight from ground positions into submission holds, resulting in a greater understanding of your body as well as increasing your agility and speed. At Krav Maga Woodland Hills we do not wear the traditional Jiu-Jitsu Kimono as it reflects closer to realistic street self-defense, also known as NoGi. Requirements: None.
