The Boys & Girls Club is partnering with Disney to host its first annual "Green Your Scene" 1-day community recycling event on June 17, 2010 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The kids will be competing to see which team can design and decorate the best recycling bin. Disney's Andrea Gibson, Daymond Rice from Vons and local artist Lisa Howard will judge the bins. The public is invited to bring computer equipment, cell phones, printer ink cartridges, cans and bottles for recycling to the club, located at 7245 Remmet Ave., Canoga Park CA 91303, and receive a raffle ticket in exchange for a chance to win a prize.
